Overview

Our ‘coordinators dashboard’ enables you to allocate your purchased course(s) to student(s) and to monitor their progress – we frequently add new functions to the dashboard
The price includes access to all the materials that the student needs to complete their course – there are no hidden charges (e.g. to take the test or to receive the certificate)
Once the coordinator enrols the student on the course, the student has 90 days to complete the course and take the online test
On successful completion of the course and test, the student can download their certificate and a copy is emailed to the coordinator
ROSPA approval gives you assurance that the technical content of this online training course has been independently audited and approved

Assessment

Our Noise Awareness online training course includes an end of course test. Please see the assessment section for more information.

End of course assessment

The end of course assessment demonstrates the student’s understanding of the information contained within the course. It must be passed to download the course certificate.

The assessment is taken online – the student does not need to attend an assessment centre
The assessment consists of multiple-choice questions
Students must achieve at least 70% in the assessment to pass it and download their course certificate
Students that do not pass the test can retake it at no extra cost (provided it is completed within 90 days from enrolment)

Receiving login details

You will be sent an email (from noreply@vitalskills.co.uk) that will contain instructions for accessing your dashboard and allocating your course(s) to students. Please check your SPAM / JUNK folder if you do not receive the email as it may get blocked by your firewall. If you have not received it within one hour and it is not in your SPAM / JUNK folder, you can email support@hsqe.co.uk for a copy to be sent to you.

Accessing the course

Your nominated Coordinator will be able to enrol students on their courses. They will receive an email containing the student’s login details. These will need to be forwarded on to the student for them to use.

The course materials will work on any internet enabled device running an up to date internet browser. Each student will have 90 days from the date of enrolment to log on and complete their course. The course does not need to be completed in one sitting.

Students can log out and return any time up until the course is completed or until the 90 day access expires.

Course certificate

Students can download the course certificate as soon as they pass the online test. A copy of the certificate will be emailed to the Coordinator.

Course expiry

Courses not allocated to students will expire after 12 months from purchase.
Courses allocated to students will expire on completion of the course or after 90 days from the original enrolment (whichever is sooner).

Why is the price so low?

We are committed to providing approved training courses in vital skills at an affordable price. The cost of our courses and bundle offers reflect that commitment.

Why do you not print expiry dates on your certificates?

It is not our place to tell you when you must retrain people. Employers must decide themselves on the basis of risk and guidance provided by the regulator. That said, because the cost of online training is so cost effective, most of our customers retrain their employees every year.

Do I need to wait for the course certificate to be posted to me?

No. The course certificate is available for immediate download as soon as you complete the course. A copy of the certificate is also emailed to your nominated coordinator when you download your certificate.
